THE WORLD OF
DIE PLATTELANDER

Authentic news for sincere individuals

YOUR LOCAL CURRENT NEWS PUBLICATION IN THE NORTHERN CAPE

Die Plattelander is a community newspaper based in Springbok, Northern Cape. Initially established in 2001 as the Namakwa Weekblad. As the publication grew in readership and popularity, our distribution grew from what started off in the Namaqualand to various other towns and districts within the Northern Cape.

As a result, a much-loved household publication name was amended to Die Plattelander, a more geographically correct description of our distribution and readership. Over the past 16 years, our publication has continued to grow, having become the number one source of news to the various communities we serve.
